As a performer and producer, I understand the importance of having an amazing biography and MC notes that are the right word length, convey your personality, and make you stand out from the crowd. I love writing pun-heavy bios for burlesque babes, showcasing a pinup’s personality in a limited number of words, and adding to the flavour and theme of a show to an MC’s notes.
If you’d like me to write you a show-stopping bio, make sure you contact me for a quote!
Here are a few examples of my performer bio work:
Citrine Velvetine (short bio)
With legs for days and eyes that sparkle, Citrine Velvetine is a fresh-faced beauty who loves the spotlight. No stranger to the stage, she has a background in dance and musical theatre and comes alive in front of an audience. Citrine is a visual artist and costume maker who carefully crafts costumes with beautiful details that will keep all eyes on her, both while she’s dressed and as each piece comes off.
Citrine Velvetine (MC notes for ‘National Past time’ a baseball-themed act)
Citrine is a rookie headliner tonight and she wants to pass first base. Make sure you keep her from striking out and cheer really loud. With any luck, she’ll hit a home run and make the big leagues…
Ladyle Feu (long bio)
Like the glamorous Hollywood starlets of the 1930s and 40s, Ladyle Feu wins the hearts and devotion of her audience every time she graces the stage.
This dancer, comic, and chameleon has honed her craft at the Bombshell’s Burlesque Academy and BB le Buff’s School of Performance where she studied under well-known performers like Lila Luxx, Lola the Vamp, Alyssa Kit, and La Viola Vixen.
A born performer, Ladyle Feu will captivate you with her luscious curves, sly wit, and sensual charm. Quirky yet glamorous, she’ll have you gasping in awe in one moment and clapping with glee the next. Like Rita Hayworth, this lady gives good face and will win you over from the moment she steps onto the stage.
Like poetry in motion, she’s floated across stages and gained avid followers in performances at the Bombshells’ Ball, Vanguard, The Press Club’s Sunday Night Burlesque, and Curves and Claws. She gave a cameo performance at the Australian Burlesque Festival Byron Bay in 2015, was a finalist in Miss Burlesque Queensland 2015, and took out second place at the 8th Fringe Bar Cabaret Competition.
This year will see her competing in Burlesque Idol Newcastle and a hopeful for Miss Burlesque Australia; She is set to take her sultry brand of tease to spellbound interstate audiences.
Like the starlets of a bygone era, Ladyle Feu is poised to set the stage on fire.
