I achieved my BFA in Creative Writing Production from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2009 and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Writing, Editing, and Publishing from The University of Queensland (UQ) in 2011. I am currently completing a Master of Fine Arts (Research) at QUT and will graduate in 2019. I have experience across a number of different writing and publishing areas including:
- Working in-house at HarperCollins Publishers Australia in fiction and children’s books
- Writing, editing, manuscript assessments, and proofreading
- Tutoring and lecturing university students in various writing, editing, and publishing subjects across the Queensland University of Technology and The University of Queensland

I have a special interest in mentoring emerging writers, and currently work primarily as a university tutor.
My work has been published in Ricochet Magazine, 100 Stories for Queensland, Corrupted Classics, URL Love, Literary Mixed Tapes – From Stage Door Shadows.
In 2012 I was a part of a team of HarperCollins authors and staff who participated in the first Twitter Fiction Festival to collaboratively write the story Around the World in Eighty Hours. I blog about baking and living the vintage life over at www.thelittlered.com.au
I am one of the fiction editors for Ricochet Magazine, a freelance editor for several major Australia publishing houses and have edited several award-winning short stories. I have also been involved in proofreading several small independent Australian magazines such as Adore Pinup Magazine.
Some of the books I’ve proofread include:
When I’m not writing, editing, mentoring or reading, I can usually be found in the kitchen baking cupcakes or pretending I’m the next MasterChef.
